Candidate Profile
• University degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant qualification (e.g., LCCI) will be considered an advantage.
• Relevant working experience will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of accounting software such as E-Soft, QuickBooks, WaveApps, or Xero will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for:
• Recording and posting financial transactions, including expenses, payments, and receipts.
• Performing bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing and processing supplier payments.
• Preparing and submitting VAT, VIES, payroll, and social insurance filings, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely remittances.
• Assisting in payroll preparation and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and related taxes.
• Supporting financial reporting, management reports, and trial balance reviews.
• Preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors.
• Using accounting software (e.g., E-Soft, Xero) for bookkeeping reviews.
• Managing collections and maintaining client relationships.

YMP has a growing clientele and offers an array of services focusing on audit, tax and financial advisory. Our clients range from multinational companies to smaller trading companies, partnerships and individuals.
Given the accelerated growth YMP has seen year on year, we are now seeking to grow our team and are looking for an accountant to join our team with a view to manage a portfolio in our Accountancy Services function.
